Roman Nykorovych (violin) and Alisa Kupriyova (piano)

Roman Nykorovych was born on December 7, 1999 in Ukraine.

At the age of six, he started taking violin lessons . From 2018, he studied at the National Music Academy of

Ukraine in Kyiv .His principal violin teacher was Taras Yaropud ,student of Bohodar Kotorovych.

During his studies, Roman participated in such competitions as : «Kyiv Meridian», 2nd International

Chamber Competition "Art of the 21st Century", International Competition "Interpretation of Contemporary

Music" ), master classes (International Menuhin Music Academy) and performed as a guest musician with

famous orchestras of Ukraine at such music festivals as “Gabala Music Festival (Azerbaijan), “Kyiv Bouquet

Stage”(Ukraine) and “Seventh days of Ukrainian music in Warsaw’’(Poland).

Roman Nykorovych completed his undergraduate studies during the full-scale russian invasion of

Ukraine. Thanks to the support of the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, he has the

opportunity to study the Artist Diploma Program since September 2022

Ukrainian Pianist, Alisa Kupriyova was born in Kharkiv.

She started her artistic path in Professional Music School under Kharkiv Conservatory named after Ivan

Kotlyarevsky.

During the years of her studies she performed recitals and concertos with orchestras in Kharkiv, Kyiv,

Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Crimea.

She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of music from the Moscow Tchaikovsky State

Conservatory. Her dazzling performance and unbeatable musicality, along with her outstanding technical

ability, have won her numerous awards in a number of international competitions.

After she won International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria, she also showed up her creative

potential as a producer. She released several International chamber music concert series in a partnership

with Yamaha Music (Japan), IMG Artists (Germany), Boesendorfer Artists (Austria), The Keyboard

Charitable Trust (Great Britain).

Among them - Loft Philharmonic – author’s project of brand new concert series of chamber music

received several awards in modern producing and creative approach to classical music formats.

Before coming to Canada, Alisa was a Teaching Professor at Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow but

due to the war in Ukraine she decided to continue her professional life and musical path abroad.

An active Chamber musician and a sought-after Piano instructor, Alisa has performed in France, Italy,

Germany, Austria, Ukraine and Russia.

Currently, Alisa continues her artistic career working at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
